Well, with a couple injured Pens getting ready to return, the Penguins have made 2 roster moves today. Eric Tangradi and defensemen Andrew Hutchinson have been sent to Wilkes Barre.
Neither of these moves are too surprising. I am disappointed Tangradi couldnt establish himself and make it impossible for the team to move him. It was obvious at times he needs some work. I think he is and will be a very good player but its just not his time yet. It also made it a little easier that he is on a two way contract and did not have to clear waivers.
Once Staal comes back, one more move will have to be made. This one will be a little trickier.
