Sorry to laugh at the Devils situation but it is just getting funnier and funnier by the day. 1st you have the whole signing issues with Kovalchuk. Then the resigning of Kovalchuk. Then the fines and punishment for the Kovalchuk signing. Then the cap issues because of the Kovalchuk signing. Then the roster issues because of the salary cap because of the Kovalchuk issues.
Now the latest...Kovalchuk was benched in favor of a 22 year old rookie. There hasnt been a good explanation from the Devils on why but this really makes you wonder whats going on over there. Here is an article from Yahoo sports that details this saga a little better
