New Jersey Devils troubles continue, Brodeur hurt

Last week, I had a good laugh at all the troubles the New Jersey Devils are having this year. As if all the events I detailed in that post weren't bad enough, Zach Parise, one of their best forwards, goes down with a knee injury and will be out 3 months. Now tonight, Martin Brodeur left the game with an apparent elbow injury. The severity is not known. Our old buddy, The Moose, Johan Hedburg is the backup.

New Jersey is last in the Atlantic Division despite playing the most games. They are last in the league in goals per game and next to last with a power play % of 7.3. They are also giving up 3.2 goals per game which puts them near the bottom. It's getting to the point I am almost feeling bad for them.....No, nevermind, it's not that bad yet,,,
