According to this Post Gazette article, Jordan Staals infected foot is "progressing". However there is no timetable for his return. He may begin working out next week. Team officials suggest he will miss at least the first few weeks of the season...
So this may be longer than expected. Staal has not been on skates for quite awhile. I'm sure he will bounce back quick once he gets cleared but this is kinda worriesome.
